Privacy Notice
Written to meet the transparency requirements of the GDPR. Last updated: 25 August 2026.
Your resume is not stored
The PDF you upload is sent to our server, converted to text, used for the analysis, and dropped from memory when the request finishes. It is never written to disk, never saved to a database, and never shared with anyone.
Your name, file name, resume text and analysis result are not retained anywhere. For the comparison feature, only the scores of your previous analysis are kept in your own browser, and they are not sent to us.
What happens during an analysis
Your resume text is sent to the AI provider that produces the analysis. That transfer is the analysis itself, and the service cannot work without it. The provider processes the text only to generate the response.
We also keep anonymous usage statistics: number of analyses, duration, page count, error type and scores. These records contain nothing that identifies you.
Email address
If you tick the consent box on the analysis form, the email address found inside your resume is stored. You are never asked to type it separately, it is extracted from the resume text during the analysis.
The extracted address is shown back to you in the "what the machine read" section of your report. In other words, the value we store is the value you see on screen. If no readable email address is found in your resume, no record is created at all.
- What is processed: only the email address extracted from your resume, the date of your consent, and the version of the text you agreed to. The resume itself is not stored.
- Purpose: to send occasional updates about new features and job searching. Nothing else.
- Legal basis: your consent, GDPR Article 6(1)(a).
- Retention: until you withdraw your consent. The record is deleted when you do.
- Where it is held: a database hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt).
- Sharing: your address is never sold, rented, or handed to third parties for advertising.
Employer enquiry form
If you fill in the form on the employer page, your name, organisation, email address and the note you write are stored. This information is used only to reply to your enquiry, never for marketing messages.
The legal basis is your consent. These records are kept separately from the email list and are deleted without delay on request.
Your rights
You have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to obtain a copy of it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict how it is used, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
Send any request to tayfunkalayci35@gmail.com. Deletion requests are carried out without delay.
Cookies
No advertising or tracking cookies are used. Your theme preference is kept in your own browser and is never sent to the server.
So that free usage can be counted, a random number is written to your browser. It is not linked to your identity, does not follow you across sites, and only tracks the hourly allowance of the same browser.
Your IP address is counted for the same reason, but it is never written down as it is: only an irreversible digest is kept, and the record deletes itself after one hour.
